Conversation Re-Write - Page 1“Aren’t we all so special?” Dirtiran suddenly said. Starting conversations in the weirdest way seemed to be one of her specialties. “Shinies?” said Kuro, looking at Dirty with a quizzical look. “No, green cheese” Atarin answered for Dirty. “No no! SPORKS!” Squealed Dirty. “GREEN CHEESE DAMNIT!” Shouted Kuro, with a bizarre expression on her face. Dirty screamed her reply. “SPOOOOOOOOOOOOORKS”   
Flakes took a few paces back, a semi-frightened look spreading across his face. “Now, now, fight nicely.” His plea fell on deaf ears, for at that moment Kuro leapt at Dirty and tackled her to the ground. They rolled around on the floor for a Conversation Re-Write - Page 1

Alablast: New FriendsAla bounced up and down on the bed, narrowly missing the ceiling.  He’d been stuck here for a week, and, though the food wasn’t bad, there really wasn’t much to do here.  In fact, other than the great view of the sky at night, the place seemed rather boring…   
Ala had just landed on the bed, and was preparing to jump again, when he was knocked off and into the wall by a red blur.  He dropped to the floor and looked around suddenly.  He saw a trio of blurs racing down the hallway, followed by the red blur.  He shook his head to clear the ringing in his ears, then raced after them.&nb Alablast: New Friends

Alablast: Kuro AttacksAla lay there, unmoving.  Kuro walked forward a step, then reached out a paw and poked him.  Instantly, the chair fell over, squashing Kuro, and Ala shot forward, taking refuge under the couch.   A few moments passed, while Kuro lay there, stunned, then shrugged the chair off of it.  She looked around angrily, then disintegrated the chair, and an entire desk along with it.  She looked around the room agai…   
“Wait, wait, wait, that’s all wrong.  I did *not* flame the desk, just the chair!”

Hello!

This is your friendly neighbourhood Institution counsellor :iconsinn-ryu: checking in to let you all know, that the DAI actually isn't dead!!!


Wait, wait.... I'll give you all a moment to wake up because I'm sure I heard some mighty thuds from folks falling into a dead faint at the news.


Yes, sadly we all got a bit... well... lazy, and stopped updating the club.


However, we're back, well, I am at least, and I'm planning a new contest to celebrate our glorious return!


At the moment the details are hazy but it will likely have an art prize, and the contest will center around the theme of What happened in the DAI while your counsellors were slacking off?. You guys'll have a bit of time to think up some ideas before I launch the contest, and there'll be another journal announcing it when that happens.


In the meantime, we're looking to update our club avatar, so if anyone thinks they'd like to put together something eye-catching and humourous in the theme of the current avvie, please, feel free.


I'll update the members list with the folks who noted to join (so long ago! I'm sorry to all you guys who were waiting so long!!!) and those who watched the club in the period of our absence. I'll be updating the 'Inmates and Counsellors' list in the near future as well. I may even resubmit it as an actual deviation to the club. I recall ~Alablast had originally deigned to do one up for me, and got it underway, but it was quite some time ago and I'm afraid I have misplaced the file.


And if you feel you have a friend here on dA who needs committing, send them our way! We have no shortage of straight jackets!

ksksksks quite an interesting group. =^_^= working on an asylum comic myself. Insanity is a good playing field of creativity. Theres a thin line between imagination and madness. =3 nice group ~cheers.
